Well, it was a noble idea, but as you can see, the Glossary is in a terrable mess. Actually, it's more empty than messy. I hope to get this section done sometime before the turn of the century - the 22nd century, that is!

FTP: File Transfer Protocol: A protocol for transferring binary data or text over the Internet.

Hypertext: This is text that is linked with other text that covers the same topic. There are the so-called links which are usually marked in some way. When you click on the link, you come to another page displaying further information. Examples for Hypertext: WWW or the Windows - help files.
